At our house today.
Some instagram pictures from the picnic we had after the relay race yesterday. The weather did turn out great, so it was very nice evening. The run went alright as well!
God morning! This morning I woke up to the rain pouring down outside our windows. We’re entering a running competition (a relay race) tonight, with a planned picnic afterwards. Oh, I cross my fingers that the weather will be better tonight, the forecast sais so at least.
This weekend we’ve been quite busy, but with a lot of fun stuff. We’ve gone swimming twice, the girls have participated in a bicycle race and, the thing I’m perhaps most pleased about: we’ve been cycling a lot around town to these different events. I really like it that we, using our chariot carrier and a kids seat behind my bike, now can transport the entire family without the need for neither a car nor public transportation. Of course, I have nothing against public transportation, but using bicycles just feels much more flexible. I predict that this summer we’ll use our bikes a lot!
Breakfast
Tada! The new living room table. After having searched all over for the perfect table (including having decided upon both a black loop stand table from Hay and the white Ikea Norden table at different occasions) we decided to go for a really cheap and flexible solution. Two Melltorp tables put together. And we can make them into one long table as well, when we’re having guests over. I still think black would be nicer but we could always paint it…
I couldn’t resist getting one of those Råskog kitchen carts as well - don’t know what to use it for really, but I just think they’re really cool. Thinking of Ellis we’ll probably have to start out with storing toys in it. Eowyn and Ellis helped out putting it together, as you can see. :)
I’ve been busy lately so there’s not been much action here. We’ve been spending a lot of time outside. Spring is finally here, for real. Today we’ve bought a new table (or actually two new tables) for our living room. But that I’ll have to show you later.
Some inspiration from Fantastic Frank. I love the kitchen, and of course the black loop stand table (which we’ve been thinking of getting for our living room for a while now).
Have a nice friday!

Our new balcony-floor is in place and Ellis and Curry are inspecting the result. I think it turned out great! Now we’re planning how to decorate the place. It’s tiny so there isn’t much room for anything really (just 1*2 meters). I think we’ll go for mostly plants. Not that we’re particularly good at keeping plants alive but last summer we actually had quite a lot of plants out there. Perhaps I’m growing green fingers?
