New bookcase and vacation!
A lot has been going on lately in real life, even though it’s been quiet here on the blog the last couple of weeks. The new bookcases has arrived, we’ve been away on a skiing holiday, Ellis has sort of learnt how to crawl and I’ve gone back to work.

Moving things around
The living room bookcases are now reused in both Ellis’ room and our bedroom. I think it turned out really good, I just hope that the new living room bookcases also will look good when they arrive.

Puppet Show
The puppetry was a Christmas present from Johan’s parents for all three kids. Isn’t it pretty? They all enjoy setting up and watching their own improvised shows. (Ok, Ellis just watches for now.)

Friday at home
Some pics from today. We spent the whole day inside, dancing ballet and playing. It’s cold and snowy outside. Tonight I’m off to Stockholm for a weekend visit. Have a great weekend!

Inspiration
Lots of things to be inspired by in this apartment. I love the sofa/bed in the first picture and also the wall mounted shelves. We’ve had that in almost all our previous apartments. I wish we could have that in our living room now but all our walls are made of gypsym plaster (is that the word for it?) and I’m not sure I would be comfortable with having all our heavy books hanging from...

TP Table cloth
We’re always looking out for good looking and durable oilcloths/table cloths for our dining room table (where a whole lot of gluing, painting, clay-ing, eating and drinking takes place). Bookshelf thoughts
A while ago I wrote about how we wanted to maximize the storage in our living room and shortly after that we got the Hemnes bookshelves to cover an entire wall. However, I’m not totally pleased with the result, I think that the Hemnes bookcases get a bit clumsy when put together like this and that they take up too much space in the room. So now, we’re discussing switching to Billy bookcases...

New years eve
Hello 2013! We celebrated at home with three other families. Lots of kids, laugh, play, dancing, fire works, good food and wine and nice conversations.  Today we’ve tidied the apartment, but the festive flags we might just keep a while longer.
