New pajamas
The Swedish children clothes store Polarn och Pyret has this campain right now where you get a 10% discount on any new garment if you turn in something old bought from them. The old clothes are then sold in the stores and all profit goes to charity. I like the idea and since Eowyn needed a new pajamas we went in with an old, outgrown dress and bought this fabulous one. We love both the pattern and...

Sewing inspiration
I’m a big fan of reusing old fabrics and making them into something new. When the selling of the apartment is over I hope I’ll have some time over for sewing again. These kids-scarves seems easy enough for me to start with. They’re from one of my favorite sewing-blogs, Florin pysslar (in swedish).

Space invaders
I love this tiny Paris apartment that I found via decor8, above all the kitchen, with the space invaders cupboards:
But the rest of the apartment seems to be great as well. Another good example of compact living.

Unicef candle-holder
Now that it’s getting darker and darker you simply can’t have too many candle-holders. Found this one, called Barbro at the swedish unicef’s great webshop. So it’s for a good cause as well!

Mette's apartment
Spending most of my time (well, as much free time as I get anyway - having a five-months-old and a 2,5-years-old tends to keep you pretty busy… :)) cleaning our apartment before selling it (we’re showing it to potential buyers this weekend).
Meanwhile I found some more inspiration from Denmark, this time from Mette’s lovely apartment. I especially like the child room.

Ekobyggportalen
Found a good site with the purpose to gather material, links and information about different areas of eco-friendly building and living (in swedish):

Compact living
Found an interesting article in SVD Magasinet about this blogger and her family of six, who has chosen to live in a quite small apartment, focusing on living cheap and having more time together. Just the sort of reasoning that I like. It’s very interesting to read about all the clever solutions in their very compact, yet fun and stylish apartment.

Coming home should be like christmas eve
Back home from a great week with lots of sun, relaxing and playing on the beach and in the pool. When we got home two packages waited for us, one for Ester and Eowyn, with these two super-cool little crocheted turtles:
Thank you, Alfred (and mummy Cia, who I suspect had something to do with it)!
For me there was a package from Yvestown with the Paumes-books I ordered some time ago:
Yay!...

Just one more..
In the middle of packing now. But I found this article on ten steps closer to complete green living that I just wanted to share before I go. :-)

Time for a vacation!
Tomorrow we’re going away on a vacation. One whole week of relax and sun and playing in the pool with Eowyn (proably not Ester, since she’s only 4 months old). Yay! And… no internet connection - so don’t expect anything here for a week or so. :)

Four different shades of grey
Currently we’re discussing which colors the walls in our new apartment will have (and if we’re going to have wallpaper anywhere). Since we haven’t gotten tired of the shades we chose for our current apartment yet we’re probably gonna reuse some of them. Which basically means a lot of greys, since we have at least four different shades of grey in our current apartment. And...

Crochet inspiration
Yesterday I bought two very cute crocheted pot-holders:
Today I visited my friend Annica and her son Elmer, 2,5 weeks old (very cute!). She had made a very nice chocheted baby-blanket, so now I feel inspired to start crocheting.
She also had a awesome patchwork blanket from the seventies, so now I’m a bit jealous. :-) (Unfortunately I didn’t bring my camera.)

What should we do with the chairs?
We have these chairs, six of them, that we bought as a group together with our living room table like four years ago or so:
They are very dull and ever since we got them we’ve been thinking about what we should do with them. I especially don’t like the beige seat-fabric - we actually have a dark grey fabric just laying around and waiting to be put on. We just haven’t gotten...

The stool is finished
And by that I don’t mean anything related to poop :-) But that I finally finished redecorating the wooden stool I bought some time ago on a fleamarket. Here’s the before version:
And here’s how it turned out, with added paint and some paper:
Not perfect but nice enough. :-)

Colorfull kitchen
I already realized I wouldn’t mind having a pink bathroom, and seeing Jenny’s kitchen made me realize I totally wouldn’t mind having a pink kitchen as well. The Q. P. Store-photo on the door and the grey cabinet are also very cool.

Majorna, here we come!
Yep, we’re moving - signed the contract yesterday! To the apartment I mentioned before. It’s situated in Majorna, which is a very nice part of Gothenburg. Can’t wait! Now my head is full of ideas for the new apartment. But more on that later… The sun is shining in Gothenburg today so we’re going outside. :-)

Lutterlagkage
Found the images of this amazing Swedish/Danish children clothes and accessories shop in Malmö called Lutterlagkage via decor8. I like it both because most of the things sold are ecological and because it’s really fun from an interior design perspective:

Will we move here?
Currently we’re in the bidding for an apartment in this lovely house (it’s the top corner apartment with the small balcony):
Excitement is BIG - we’ll know during the day if we get to buy it or not…

Shopping spree
Lately I’ve done quite a lot of shopping, mostly second hand and mostly online. I bought some really nice retro coffee-cups from my fellow blogger Sara (who’s blog is filled with cool stuff). This means that the vintage-coffee-cup-collection that we started a while ago is finally moving along (for some time we only had one Berså-cup - not much of a collection then):
Later on I want...

Inspiration from Hus & Hem
Since we’re looking for a new place to live right now but haven’t found anything yet, I’m looking for inspiration for all rooms. In this house, from Hus & Hem, I found quite a lot of good ideas.
I really like the dark floor of the livingroom:
As well as the pine floor of the child room (pine floors are my favorites..):
If the kitchen in our next apartment is big...

A great idea for hanging clothes
I really like open display of clothes (even though my clothes do tend to get a bit dusty…). So I couldn’t agree more with Hello-Tiger: kvirrevitt’s giant pearl necklace is just a great idea. Works in the bedroom for your favorite dresses or, like kvirrevitt uses it; for the laundry. Panduro here I come!

Writing on the wall, anyone?
I must admit that I used to be really into the whole writing-on-the-wall-trend. Now, I’m starting to become a bit feed up (no more “carpe diem”, please), I guess it all depends upon what you write - and the font. Some examples that still inspire me:
And then there are numbers… Thank god for numbers - at least they can´t be a cliché (I think…).
