In search of a new rug for our livingroom

We’re looking to replace our livingroom rug, since it’s seen its best days. I’m thinking a so called “trasmatta” in multicolor would be perfect, having small children and all - the’re washable and stains will hopefully not be so visible because of the multicolor. Also they’re pretty.

However, it’s proven quite hard to find one in the right size and style. Himla had the perfect one a couple of years ago but they don’t seem to make it any more. Very irritating. Perhaps we should just get two of these from IKEA and sew them together to form a big one?
