DoreDoris on Dos Family

I really like the blog DoreDoris so I was very curious when I saw that Jenny from Dos Family had made a visit to the blog-owner’s home. Her house seems to be just as cool as I had imagined - filled with second hand/vintage furniture and details.

I really like the white kitchen with loads of bright red accents, especially the kitchen chairs. I love bright colors but would probably not go for red myself, but it really looks great here. A round table is on my wishlist for our new apartment by the way…

Having a big, old style pantry is also on my wishlist, although I’ll have to continue living without it I guess.

The children rooms are also very nice. And check out the outfit on the little girl! I was somewhat surprised to read that the girl behind DoreDoris, Carolina, is also responsible for another one of my favorite blogs, BRUNo.RANGE, about sewing. Check it out if you haven’t already, it’s really creative and inspiring (I love the way she re-uses old jeans for example).

I’ve been wanting to have a hat rack for Ester’s and Eowyn’s clothes, like in the picture below. In the new apartment I think we’ll make room for one.

I really like old style phone shelves like the one below, with space for the phone and the phone catalogue (and if you don’t have a phone catalogue it works just as well for shoes):
