Masdar - carbon-neutral city

Interesting article about a carbon-neutral city being built in Abu Dhabi. The part about the driverless so called podcars made me wonder if it was an april fool’s day joke, but I guess it isn’t. :-) Don’t know why that seemed impossible, but it just felt too futuristic. Perhaps because the car industry has us so convinced that old-style cars are the only alternative?

Anyways, I really like the idea that the town is being designed mainly for pedestrians.
