Black and white graphics
As much as I love bright colors, I also love black and white, especially in strict geometrical patterns (like the pattern on Sergels torg in Stockholm). Therefore I was very happy when I found my way to mamamekko’s new web shop, little studio, where you can get cool posters like these:

Here is another great example, a little less geometrical perhaps, but still really cool, from Ashley G:

Preparing for Earth Hour
The sickness still has its hold upon us, so this year I suspect we will be spending earth hour in bed - asleep. Hoping that the entire family will feel better soon.
Before the sickness we decorated the wall above our bed with pictures by Gorjuss, Madame Mo, Johanna.B and our own little artist, Eowyn (the bottom left one, if you hadn’t guessed that)!

Moomin
Finally found the Moomin fabric from Finlayson that I’ve been looking for for some time now. Bought an adult size sheet with the intention to destroy it and make textile pictures for the kids’ rooms. Eo got these two small ones:

And Ester got a big one above her bed:

Still have most of the fabric left, so we’ll see what more we’re gonna make of it. But I think that maybe we have filled our Moomin quota for now. :)
Plastic bead patterns
I wish I (and my kids) had a little bit more patience, then I would do something like this (by the amazing Cilla Ramnek):

Illustrator Lisa Jones
I really like illustrator Lisa Jones’ prints, for example this one, Night Owls:

Or Town:

Both are printed on recycled paper and both prints are also available as a kitchen towls made of fairtrade ecological cotton.

Owls certainly seem to be all the rage right now. Check out these pretty owl-posters from the poster list:

Some days are better than others

Currently I’m very happy with basically all aspects of my life; I have a fantastic family, an interesting new job, we’re moving to a new apartment in a part of the city that I really like - feels like I’ve arrived at the sunny tomorrow. :-)

Havtorn design
Just stumbled upon Havtorn design, where I found these lovely Japanese-inspired cardboard posters (from French Madame Mo):
