Santa read my blog?

Yes, I did get a Mr Mustache print, just like I wanted. Not the exact one however, but an equally nice one (similar enough for Santa to get them mixed up perhaps?):

I also got the Headhunters print to the right above and, since Johan got the I love TV-print from Sammy Rose, I guess art must have been on Santa’s mind this christmas:

But it’ll have to wait until after the move to our new apartment before we will display these new beauties properly. We’ll get the keys on Monday and we’ll be moving by the end of the month. Before that most of the apartment will be repainted and get new floors so the next couple of weeks will be pretty exciting (and exhausting) for us.

5 minutes too late

Our local used book store has had this really cool old movie poster, “Jour de fête”, in their window for the last couple of weeks. I’ve been walking past it almost every day thinking that maybe I should go in and buy it? Well, yesterday evening I finally decided that it was time to stop thinking about it and just do it. This afternoon I went in only to discover that it had been sold - 5 minutes earlier…

Luckily they had another one, “Mon oncle”, by the same artist (and director) so I got it instead:

I have never seen any of the films (although I have heard of “Mon oncle”), but I really like the design of the posters. I’ll show you the framed result later.

4. I wouldn’t mind having a few of Jessica Romberg’s litographs as well (also from Andyland):

5. Something more by Lisa Rinnevuo (we already have five lithographs by her):

Ester’s wishlist

In a month or so we’re going to have a naming celebration for our daughter, Ester Sigrid. Since she’s only two months old and cannot have a saying in the matter, I made up a wishlist for her :):

A retro shelf/”sætterkasse” from Retro Villa:

A retro "sætterkasse"

A “rocking rabbit” from Playsam:

A retro patchwork bedspread made out of vintage fabrics, like these ones (also from Retro Villa):

A house toy basket from Rice:

A painting, perhaps something from l’affiche moderne, like this one, “Save water, take a shower together” by FlipFlopDesign:

or one of the prints from Isa Form:
