The puppetry was a Christmas present from Johan’s parents for all three kids. Isn’t it pretty? They all enjoy setting up and watching their own improvised shows. (Ok, Ellis just watches for now.)

Tada! The new living room table. After having searched all over for the perfect table (including having decided upon both a black loop stand table from Hay and the white Ikea Norden table at different occasions) we decided to go for a really cheap and flexible solution. Two Melltorp tables put together. And we can make them into one long table as well, when we’re having guests over. I still think black would be nicer but we could always paint it…
I couldn’t resist getting one of those Råskog kitchen carts as well - don’t know what to use it for really, but I just think they’re really cool. Thinking of Ellis we’ll probably have to start out with storing toys in it. Eowyn and Ellis helped out putting it together, as you can see. :)
Today we’ve done some much needed spring cleaning around here. We’ve also planted some spring flowers. And we’ve made plans both for our little summer cabin and for our balcony. We need a new balcony floor and we’ve decided upon Bergo floor tiles. I think it will look nice and be much more practical than our existing wooden floor (which can’t be lifted easily so we can’t clean underneath it nor pick up things that we’ve dropped through the tiles).
Oh, and Ester dressed up as Santa for Easter. In case you were wondering.
Having a nine month old baby crawling around the house can sometimes result in a need for reshuffling. A table in front of the sofa isn’t really that practical, now is it? Much better to have a whole carpet full of free space.
The last week have been really sunny and nice here in Gothenburg. So who cares if it’s still pretty damn cold, and that we are ill for what feels like the 11th time this looooong winter?.. Not me. Really. Happy Easter!
It’s really cold here, so we’ve spent most of the day inside, making dolls out of toilet paper rolls and moving our bookshelves around. Delivery of the new Billy shelves are due on Thursday, so now we’re preparing. We’ve moved two of the shelves into Ellis room. Turned out great! I’ll show you later, when the room isn’t such a mess.

Some pics from today. We spent the whole day inside, dancing ballet and playing. It’s cold and snowy outside. Tonight I’m off to Stockholm for a weekend visit. Have a great weekend!

Hello 2013! We celebrated at home with three other families. Lots of kids, laugh, play, dancing, fire works, good food and wine and nice conversations.

Today we’ve tidied the apartment, but the festive flags we might just keep a while longer.

Here’s the advent calendar that Eowyn and Ester (and I, but mostly them) decorated. I bought the calendar at Panduro and then we painted and decorated it with glitter. A very easy diy for two little girls who just love to paint everything. :-)
The last week on Instagram. 1. Livingroom shelf. 2. We have tidied up our fridge a bit. 3. Kitchen table. 4. Eowyn and Ellis, hanging out. A lot of iPad-time is ok when you’re ill. 5. A flea marked find. 6. We just love little plastic figures. 7. Tv-night in the doll house. 8. Ellis want’s to be carried a lot due to his cold. The Manduca baby carrier borrowed from a friend of a friend comes in very handy!
