Painting
This week Eowyn and I have been painting handles for the new Bestå-shelf in Eowyn and Ester’s room. Right now we’re putting them up. I’ll show you the result later.
Some pics from around the apartment today. The kids are ill so I’m staying home with them. The shelf in the kids’ room (they are sharing a room now) is almost finished.

Instead of traditional wardrobes we went for Bestå shelves from Ikea for Eowyn’s room. They are less deep than a wardrobe but instead they will very nicely cover the entire wall (at least I hope so). We ordered them today online, and I can’t wait until we get them. Hopefully the end result will look something like this:

It’s been a busy fall for me, which means it’s been unusually quiet here. Now I’m hoping for a change. Today I’m working from home, just me and the cat. Happy Lucia to all of you!
The best thing about the new clothes drying racks above our laundry machine is probably that we no longer need to have a semi-permanent drying rack cluttering our bed room. The room feels really airy without it. :-) Normally I can’t get to this corner of the room (the drying rack always used to sit right in front the clothes rack):
Our internet connection is failing us right now. So therefore I can’t upload any new pictures, which is too bad since I wanted to show the new drying racks we’ve just put up above the washing machine in our so called laundry room (a minimal bathroom with a washing machine where there used to be a shower). It’s very much compact living in there; we’ve squeezed in washing machine, baby changing table (well that’s the washing machine with a cushion on top), drying of laundry, a lot of storage - all in one small room, less that two square meters I’d guess.
Here are some older pics instead. Eo and Ester does a lot of painting at the moment. Or perhaps I should say always.
