Yesterday was Majorna-dagen here in our neighbourhood, with live music, food and a local fleamarket right outside our house. Ester and I put on our sunglasses and went to have a look. We had hot dogs, listened to cool music and made some nice bargains: children books, a chair (just 10 crowns!), shoes and a very fancy toy-ride. The last one wasn’t really that cheap (200 crowns - probably should have bargained but I’m lousy at it… too polite), but Ester was pleased, as you can see. :-) All in all we spent less than 300 crowns on everything, including the food. A good day!
Ever since we first read Totte klär ut sig, the kids have wanted their own dress up-chest. Inspired by some fellow bloggers I decided to go for an old suitcase that I found at a second hand store instead. Ester’s favorite at the moment is, as you can see, Pippi.

Last weekend I went on a little trip up the coast with some friends. On the way home we stopped by a really nice second hand store called Antikladan. Well worth a visit if you’re passing by. Got two more jars with hearts on them, one green and one pink (we already had a pink one but you can never have too many jars, can you?).
Ester’s still ill so today I’ve been working until lunch and now I’m at home with her. I made Eo’s bed with the new sheets I mentioned, and now I can’t stop thinking that they look vaguely familiar. Actually I’m getting more and more sure that we had the exact same sheets back home when I was a kid. I’ll have to ask my mom the next time she’s here.
We’ve been to a kids dance class today, Eo and I. Before that we went up to the attic and carried down this old bed for Ester (which Eo had before her). She really seems to enjoy having a bed that she can climb in and out of herself. I told her she should step on the pouf (which her big sister very kindly lent her) to get up. She just looked at me, said “No” and climbed up. Without the pouf. :)
